DMCA & Copyright Policy

1. Overview

Virestia respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and content contributors to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable laws.

2. Submitting a DMCA Notice

If you believe that material on virestia.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated agent that includes:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
• The URL or other specific location on virestia.com of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it
• Your contact information, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf

Send the notice to our designated agent at virestia.com/contact with the subject line "DMCA Notice." Notices that do not substantially comply with the requirements above may not be actionable.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that content of yours was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification including:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the material that was removed and the URL or location where it appeared before removal
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you reside (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which Virestia may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice

4. Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access or accounts of users or contributors who are repeat infringers.

5. Misrepresentation

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in either a DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in liability for damages under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. We recommend consulting with an attorney before submitting either.
